The spot marked 1 is Barren's Church. The house built by George Bentz (husband of Nancy Groff) is number 2. The house with the Bentz burial ground, known as the "old Bentz homestead", and owned by Jacob Bentz, built around 1830, is 3. These red areas aren't exact property boundaries; they're what my image editor would let me do. I would love to have an accurate, close-up map with the original property lines.
